Reading notes

Four addresses repeat an invitation to approach and a prohibition against approaching: the city, the house, the hero and the goddess. Praise follows, then the section designation, “house.”

Invitation and prohibition follow one another within a single line. This repetition can be read as a tension between the desire to approach a sacred place and a boundary that must not be crossed.
